International Conference on Silicon Carbide and Related Materials 2009

Tutorial Day

Electronic Properties and Characterization of Semiconductors and Semiconductor Devices

As during last year's ECSCRM 2008, prior to the start of the ICSCRM 2009 conference, a Tutorial Day is organized especially but not only for young researchers (PhD students and Postdocs). The main target of the Tutorial Day is to introduce the physical background about electronic properties of and characterization techniques for semiconductors and semiconductor devices. The lectures - given by 5 invited speakers, all well recognized in their respective field - are intended be easy to follow for young researchers with different background and field of activity.

The Tutorial Day is organized in the framework of the European project MANSiC. The financial support by the European Commission is gratefully acknowledged.
